WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
SATURDAY (Audition Day): Actors use the scenes as audition sides and will “audition” for the part with a provided reader. All actors in the workshop will watch the auditions and learn Gary’s audition process and master what a director expects from, and looks for, in actors. Actors will then “book” the part and be given direction on how to approach the scene for set.
SUNDAY (Set Day): Actors meet their partners and work the scenes from “first team rehearsal” to “final take” in front of cameras, learning hands-on set training from the director’s perspective. After all scenes are completed, the high definition video of all your takes will be made available to you. This is an exhaustive, exciting, and intimate experience – the immersion into the director’s world – and an opportunity to learn from a highly experienced, active, and relevant director.Cost
