What is difference between an actor having a website, compared to having this Web Collection?
Women, let’s use an analogy you can embrace (Men, you’ll get the point from this analogy too). Imagine your website as a pair of sultry red lace-overlay Manolo Blahnik shoes. That’s all you have with a website. On the other hand, this Web Collection is the equivalent of pairing your sultry shoes with a killer pant suit, second-skin sexy undergarments, classy bling, fierce red nails, beautiful makeup and hairdo that turns heads! Not only do we pimp out your wardrobe, we teach you how to market yourself as an actor (web management, brand, distribution, connections) on an ongoing basis. Do you see the difference?
Does the Web Collection include registering a domain name for me?
The Web Collection does not include a domain name. Clients will provide a domain name for us to use in developing your website. You can register your domain with
NameCheap or
GoDaddy.
Will this Web Collection work for me if I have an existing domain name and/or website?
Yes.
Since the Web Collection does not include registering a domain name, but works with your own domain name, we will point your domain name to your website files hosted with us.
If you have an existing website, but are not satisfied with it, you can choose one of our design layout options, and we’ll build your Web Collection using your existing content (headshots, resume, videos etc.).
Do I have more than 3 design layout choices?
You have a choice of three design layouts to choose from at this time. The
Jeb design, the
Michelle design and the
Whitney design.
The rationale is this…
With the understanding that what makes any actor unique is their resume, headshots and videos, we’ve chosen to feature three design layouts that will act as a clean, blank canvas to allow an actor’s content to take centre stage. Hence, no two actors will have the same look as they’re uniquely different.
In addition, with economies of scale to enable this Web Collection to be affordable, and reducing choice confusion for clients, these three design layouts will allow us to develop an actor’s Web Collection efficiently and to quickly allow the actor to begin learning how to distribute their content via their platform – which is most critical, instead of the typical website design process of nitpicking colors and elements.

What is my next step after I register for my Web Collection?
You will receive a registration confirmation email, along with directions to submit your content to us via a private web form. The web form is detailed in what we need, and though we prefer you send all your content in one submission, we realize it may not always be possible. In this situation, you can send additional information later, but we recommend entering your name, phone number and email address again so we can associate your part 2 content with your part 1 content.
What is your return policy?
Please decide carefully if the Web Collection is right for you as this is a service offered that is time-intensive. We don’t give refunds simply because you changed your mind or make a wrong decision. At any point between the date of purchase and 30 days elapsed, if you decide that the Web Collection developed is faulty, wrongly described, or doesn’t do what it is supposed to do, you may apply for a full refund in the form of credits towards Actor’s Foundry classes. Requesting a refund at any point beyond that 30 day window voids the refund offer. You must detail your reasoning for requesting the refund. Actor’s Foundry has the opportunity and right to attempt to resolve your complaint. If we are unable to resolve your complaints, then you will be issued your refund in full in the form of class credits. Please retain your payment receipt as proof of purchase.
